- 1). Transfer the image from your digital camera or scan an image onto your computer.
- 2). Open the photo in Paint.
- 3). Click on "Image" in the file menu.
- 4). Click on "Attributes" in the pop down menu.
- 5). Find where it says "Resolution:" in the box that pops up. The dots per inch will be shown to the right.
