For Lorelei Eurto’s, it all started with a copy of Stringing magazine. She fell instantly in love with bead stringing, and with the help of this same magazine, Lorelei taught herself all the basic techniques she needed to get started. I am sure at the time she had no idea that eventually some of her bead stringing creations would be featured in this same magazine as well as many other magazines including Bead Style, Bead Trends, Step by Step Beads, and Creative Jewelry, plus books such as Chain Style, and Wire Style 2.

This prolific jewelry designer, who lives in New York State with her husband Joe, is collaborating on jewelry book, running a successful on-line jewelry business, and writing a popular weblog. She manages to do all of this while still working full-time at an art museum. It has got to be a crazy life but full of creative energy and a life many jewelry designer would envy, so I asked Lorelei to bring us into her world for a little while and tell us about how she got started and where she plans to go from here.
