I love spreading out a selection of coordinating beads then moving them around until an idea pops into my head, unfortunately it does not always happen that way.

The problem with this is that you sometimes use too much of the design seen and your finished piece is not as unique or personal as you wanted.

if it is a necklace then the type of necklines on tops and dresses will help make my mind up regarding the length or shape of the design.
Unfortunately sometimes the fashion magazines do not reflect what people are really wearing so just taking a walk though a busy (or even not so busy shopping center will give me ideas for beading all sorts of items, not just jewelery.
Anyone who can just sit down and make a new unique piece of stylish jewelery without any trouble is very talented.
