- There are a number of larger shopping malls in Pattaya where big name brands and local products can be purchased. These include the Central Festival Center on the second road, Pattaya Nua junction, The Outlet Village on the Sukhumvit bypass and Royal Garden Plaza on central road. These are fixed-price locations, although bartering can be done in some shops.
- Markets cater predominantly to local Thai consumers and offer many bargains, although customers should note that many goods are counterfeit. The largest one is the night market, which takes place on Friday and Saturday evenings on Threpasitt Road in the Jomtien area.
- At night, a large number of street traders and stalls appear in popular areas such as the pedestrianized Walking Street selling everything from Buddhist artifacts to copied DVDs. Street traders can be bartered with and will normally name prices much higher than they expect to receive. However, not all products are good quality, and the traders are unregulated.
