- 1). Cut seven 10-foot studs down to 9 feet 9 inches. Cut two 14-foot studs down to 13 feet 9 inches.
- 2). Find the center of a 4-foot side of one piece of plywood at one end with the measuring tape and mark it. Repeat this step at the other end of the plywood. Connect the two marks with a 10-foot stud and draw a line down the middle of the plywood using the stud as a guide.
- 3). Cut the plywood on this line so that you are left with two pieces measuring 2 feet by 10 feet.
- 1). Place the 13-foot-9-inch studs parallel to each other and about ten feet apart. Place the 10-foot studs perpendicular to the others so they form a 10-foot-by-14-foot rectangle, with the 10-foot studs sandwiching the 13-foot-9-inch studs. Place all of the studs on the 2-inch edge.
- 2). Place a corner brace on one of the corners and screw it to both of the studs with the long screws. Repeat this step for the other three corners.
- 3). Place the 9-foot-9-inch studs 1 foot 5 inches apart inside the rectangle, perpendicular to the longer studs. Screw them into the structure at both ends using three long screws per end.
- 4). Place the plywood on the frame, using three 4-foot-by-10-foot pieces and one 2-foot-by-10-foot piece to cover it fully, and screw it to the frame with the 1-inch screws. Place the screws 1 foot apart around the perimeter and as well as through the studs in the middle.
