Ingredients:
2 strip steaks, about 1-inch thickness, approximately 10 to 12 ounces each
1 cup red wine
3/4 cup freshly brewed espresso or strong black coffee
pinch dried crumbled rosemary
pinch dried crumbled thyme
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 to 3 teaspoons cracked black pepper
Preparation:
Mix the wine and freshly brewed espresso coffee, crumbled rosemary and thyme, teaspoon of ground black pepper, onion and garlic powders and teaspoon of salt in a medium sized box plastic ware. Then add the strip of steaks and make sure that each piece is well coated with the marinade. Cover the plastic ware and refrigerate it between 3 to 4 hours.
Heat the grill at high temperature. Take the marinated steaks and allow the drip back in the plastic box. Then sprinkle the steak strips with cracked pepper depending on how you want it and place them on the grill and cook them for 4 to 6 minutes for each side until done or how you want it done.
