- 1). Place the watch on your wrist. Buckle the strap. Pinch the strap so the watch fits properly on your wrist. The links you are pinching are the ones you need to remove.
- 2). Take off the watch. Place it on its side with the adjustment knob facing up.
- 3). Identify the links with arrows etched on the underside. These arrows point to the removable pins. Insert the safety pin -- or a similar-sized object -- into the hole on the arrow side of the link. Push the pin out. Fully remove it from the other side with pliers. Remove the link from the strap. Perform this on as many links as necessary.
- 4). Connect the strap and clasp together. Line up the connection and insert the pin to hold it with the pliers. Push the pin in completely so it is not sticking out.
- 5). Place the watch back on your wrist.
- 1). Place the watch on your wrist with the adjustment knob pointing towards your hand.
- 2). Feed the open strap end of the band through the buckle. Feed it in until the watch band fits on your wrist.
- 3). Secure the band in place by fitting the buckle pin into the nearest slot on the band. Secure the band in place with the band holder further down the buckle end.
