Vytorin

Vytorin (Ezetimibe/Simvastatin) is a compound of Ezetimide (also known Zetia in US) and statin drugs.It is used for the treatment of Dyslipidemia.

Vytorin Ezetimibe lowers the cholesterol in the blood by absorbing it formed in the small intestine. Simvastatin acts and decreases the excess production of Enzyme. This enzyme increases the statin problem and the cholesterol level in the blood of a human being. Simvastatin is best for the treatment of both the conditions, which causes high cholesterol in a person.

Vytorin blocks the transport of cholesterol and triglycerides from the liver towards the tissues of peripheral. Vytorin, which is a compound of Simvastatin and Ezetimibe works better as compared to simvastatin alone in controlling the cholesterol level in the blood.

Side effects of Vytorin

Some ofVytorin side effects are

It may cause neuromuscular problem in which the fibers of muscle does not regulate properly causing muscle disorder.

Can cause muscle tissue problem. Some of these tissues connected to kidney may result in kidney disaster.

• This medicine might cause pain in the muscle
• Causes pain in the stomach or abdomen
• Muscle gets swollen
• Slow rate of liver function causing hepatitis
• In some area, there might be a formation of rashes at the top layers of skin
• Frequent feeling of tiredness and stress, feeling clumsy
• Vytorin can cause, pain in the head, dizziness and vomit
• Symptoms like Cold and fever, cough and respiratory problems may occur
• Change in behavior and easily getting depressed due to inadequate function of the organs in the body
• Infection caused at the site of injection
• It can give rise to pigments in the eye by reacting with melanin production in the melanocytes
• It reacts and may increase the dark brown or black pigment production in the melanocytes resulting in the changes of color in the eye

Reaction with other medicines

Some of the medicines, which react with Vytorin( Ezetimibe) drug are:

• Drug used to cure liver such as Questran.
• Drugs like Welchol.
• Colested medicine reacts negatively with Vytorin.
• Baxin medicine too has adverse effects if used along with Vytorin medicine.
• It also reacts with Lofibra medicine and Tricor medicine.
• Drugs such as Nicotin or Noxafil has adverse effects if taken with Vytorin.
• Inhabitor drugs e.g. Prezista or Coumadin.
• Products made of grapes also have negative impact while using this medicine.

Precautions while taking Vytorin drug:

Patients suffering from kidney related problems need to consult the medical specialist before using this medicine.

Take medical advice since it is necessary to know whether you can bear 5mg dosages.

If patient gets pregnant while using Cheap Vytorin drug she should immediately stop using this medicine for it may result in some severe problem.

Tell doctor if you have acute liver problem.
