In Oregon, where the salary-to-wage ratio is 1:4, lawmakers seeking to save money and cut costs want to change the ratio to 1:11 by reducing the number of managers. In other words, rather than having one manager for every four hourly workers, lawmakers seek to have one manager for every 11 hourly workers.
