Looking for the meanings of your dreams? Truly the best person capable of doing this is you.
You are the most intimate with your own mind, and all the symbology that is produced by your own subconscious.
I will admit there is some truth to universal symbology, yet it all has to be filtered through your own life experience and what the essence of these symbols are to you.
All you need is a little understanding of what a dream is, and how the meaning can be searched for.
First you are full aware of the two parts of your mind, the conscious and the subconscious.
And really there is one more thing you need to know about this.
Your awareness is usually associated with the conscious mind.
It is the part of your "mind" that is the focal point of your soul or spirit.
However, what you may not know is that this awareness can be fully active while in the realm of the subconscious mind.
If you have ever had a lucid dream, or out of body experience you know all too well this is true.
Actually while you sleep, your awareness is quite active.
You can play through many realms and dimensions all very "conscious" at the time, having your full awareness of what you are doing.
This may seem a little hard to swallow, but that's only because you can not directly remember these adventures, unless you have the previously mentioned lucid dream or OBE.
Through thousands of years of social training to ignore this most real aspect of life, our brains have simply forgotten how to incorporate this part of who we are, into our awake lives.
Nevertheless, each dream remembered is a glimpse of this world we nightly partake of.
Some times that mysterious feeling of Dejavu is simply because you have explored that exact experience while on your travels in the dream state.
And of course you can explore unencumbered by time or space.
When you on your nightly journeys, to which you are most assuredly living that experience in "real time", even as time does not really exist in this world, you are certainly most conscious and aware.
However, as an EKG would show, your physical brain is shut down.
It is not processing very much activity at all.
Your physical brain is not being used by your mind, your awareness, For what your mind is transcends the physical world, and exists with or without the brain and body.
The disconnect of the memory happens because the brain was not invited to the party.
The only way that memory can be downloaded into the brain, so that you can remember, is a forceful intention from you mind to fill the brain with this memory.
But remember, this must come from your apparently sleeping mind, which is of course fully aware.
Its also important to note, that while on the other side, your motives are very much different than while you are in the physical world.
Remember you travel to these places every time you sleep, you may even have feelings while dreaming like "why cant I remember this when I wake up"? Keep in mind, while you are in this world, you are not really concerned with much of anything that takes your attention while you are awake.
Remember there are no laws of physics over there, no need to buy a candy bar, its just a completely different world.
You just will not be interested in the same things that you are here.
But you can program your mind while awake simply by thinking the same intention over and over.
This will create a thought form that will transcend the void and you can use this ability to help you remember - down load the experience into your mind - or even visit interesting places or times.
Now if you have experienced a dream that was scary and wonder if it is a premonition, then you should know that very few dreams indeed are literal warnings.
You can absolutely have one, but chances are far greater the dream is just a symbolic story to invoke certain emotions within you, to cause you to THINK about the meaning.
Many dreams are what I call just noise.
You will have scattered images and events as if you were watching a television that is changing channels quickly.
These dreams have no useful meaning and are just the result of scattered information that your brain did pick up on while you were sleeping, and completely misunderstood the true events that preceded the memory.
These scattered images can also merge with little bottled up emotional thought forms in your subconscious and are emerging in an unorganized way.
A dream worthy of investigating the meaning, is one that seems to be a story.
Sure the people can change who they are in the blink of an eye, the place the dream happens can also change on a dime.
Physical reality has no place in the stories of the mind.
If the dream is recurring, then there is most assuredly a message your inner self wants you to process in your physical reality.
These dreams, no matter how strange, or disjointed, are a message addressed to you.
In the same way your physical body will heal a cut on your hand, without you having to do anything; so will your mind bring to your attention an inner wound where you are blocking the flow of natural positive energy.
I should mention here, that Peace is who you are..
..
Stress is who you think you are.
Think about that a little while.
Your inner self will attempt to bring to your physical awareness information, through symbolic messages in the story of your dream.
These messages are sent to you from your own deeper self, and sometimes from others on the other side.
The importance here is that you spend time thinking about the dream.
Simply doing this, for weeks if you have too, will bring resolution to the blocked energy your body is attempting to harmonize.
I should note here, that blocked emotional energy is the root of all disease and dysfunction.
That should be enough motive to learn to work with your own dreams.
The body, or the mind will always clue you in to developing problem.
And dreams are one tool that the body uses.
