Monster Steam MopGreat For Sanitizing Floors

The Monster Steam Mop by Euroflex is one of the more pricier steam mops on the market which may lead some to wonder, is it worth the extra cost? That all depends on what you are looking for in a steam mop. There is no denying that the Monster Steam Mop has some amazing features, whether they are worth the cost or not is something you will have to decide for yourself.

The Monster Steam Mop is one of the hotter steam mops available. It heats up to 266 degrees Fahrenheit which is more than hot enough for the 212 degrees required to kill germs and bacteria. If sanitizing is one of the top priorities for what you want out of a steam mop, this one is a good option. Believe it or not, some of the popular steam mops on the market today don't get hot enough to kill germs.

Another feature of the Monster Steam Mop is it's two steam direction. Steam comes out of the front and the bottom. The front steam makes it possible to clean and sanitize your baseboards while mopping your floors. At 25 feet, the Monster also has a decent size cord. If you have bigger rooms to mop, this is nice since most steam mops have cords that are only about 20 feet long.

The carpet glide attachment that comes with the Monster is another feature that many will love about this mop. The attachment allows you to sanitize your carpets and rugs which is really an added bonus since not every steam mop has the ability to this.

The Monster Steam Mop is not all perfect though. These features come with a higher price tag than some other models including Shark, Bissell, and Eureka. There are also some customer reviews out there complaining about the Monster's handle breaking and a few people reported that their mop stopped working after a while. The Monster is also one of the heavier steam mops so it might take a little more muscle to push it versus more lightweight models. And it's high profile mop head might make it harder to get under cabinets and furniture with your mop.

All in all, the Monster Steam Mop does have a lot to offer and is therefore in my opinion an option worth considering. That being said, there are a couple of mops that I feel are even better than the Monster.
