A Book Review of the United STRESSED of America by Lauren D LaPorta, MD

We live in a time where we deal with stress on a daily basis.
In the book The United STRESSED of America, we learn where the stress comes from, and what we can do to rid our lives of the stress.
Every person alive will have some type of stress in his or her life.
It is inevitable.
Even if you have everything you could possibly want in life, you will still have some type of stress.
Lauren D.
LaPorta, MD breaks the book The United STRESSED of America down into chapters dealing with different areas of stress we deal with.
The reader will learn how the media plays a huge part in causing us stress.
Who would have thought simply watching the evening news could be contributing to the stress in one's life.
You will learn about the drug companies contributing to your stress.
They run ads on TV and in print of the new drugs they are trying to sell.
These drugs will make all your problems magically disappear, or so they claim.
Most of these drugs are unneeded, but we are all so worried about our health we will fall for the claims that the drug companies are making.
In The United STRESSED of America, you will learn about how stress affects the body.
Stress can cause ten major problems in your body.
The worst problem is that you could die.
That is right; you could die from all the stress in your life.
Did you know that your children could be stressed, or affected by your stress? After you read The United STRESSED of America, you will know that children feed off our emotions.
They can sense whenever mom or dad is stressed.
This can cause them all sorts of problems.
Childhood should be a time for children to live stress-free lives.
Unfortunately, this is often not the case.
I highly recommend everyone read this book.
We can all use a wake up call where stress is concerned.
We want to live long, happy lives.
If we are stressed, we are cutting years off our life span.
This book will make you see where we have stress in our lives that we did not even realize existed.
