I recently loaded up a couple of sites that offers to teach Street Magic and Ventriliquism on my page youdooityourself.com.  The magic site has this very cool video showing these guys performing magic out in the street with small local groups of people.  Of course the crowds are pretty impressed for what they are watching right in front of their eyes.  Magic is fun to watch, especially good tricks.   I've wondered how David Blaine did a lot of his street tricks.  By the nature of this mystery, we are not suppose to know.  Though I am not a magician I've heard the secrets are precious posessions.  If you are one that is trying to uncover these secrets then I think their instruction might really be worth it.  As usual, their advertizing has some lofty claims, but everyone's do.  I don't see how they can teach us to do magic that is witnessed with people right next to you.  There must be some cool tricks revealed.

I honestly have to wonder about the Ventriliquist instruction.  I don't doubt they can teach a lot of how it is all done but there must be a certain amount of natural talent or ability to be able to speak clearly with our mouth closed.  I for sure cannot do this.  I have trouble enough pronouncing words using all the God given tools I have.  The idea of throwing your voice also seems hard to grasp.  Once the entire speech thing is mastered we would also have to learn to coordinate the movement of the dummy.  Just thinking about all of it gives me more of an appreciation to what they are accomplishing.  I looked at the ad a bit and it says they'll teach us proper breathing, lip control, puppet manipulation, etc etc... Like I said, it does sound like a lot.

What I like about both of these sites is they offer to teach us a talent that is very fun and positive.  A real treat.  We may never make money or end up on stage somewhere but we can have some fun, lots of fun.  Who knows, a few of us might just become great. Performing magic well can be very entertaining.  Most of us have seen things that truly look magical.  Our logical brains look at the trick and can't rationalize what happened.  It must be magic.  

Again I have to say I love the fact that we can learn these kinds of talents.  Hopefully, we will have more magicians and ventriliquists in the world in the relatively near future.  The impact will be great.  More magical and unexplained things in the world and more dummys.  One of those odd balances in the world.  I wonder what fun talents I might have sought after when I was young.  Learning complicated things like this wasn't so easily available.  A person now can use their bedroom as a training center and learn these fun kinds of skills in a very short time.   

My site, youdooityourself.com has a very large variety of instruction and unfortunately I can't buy them all to know for sure they are what they say.  They all claim to be great.  So is the nature of advertizing.  If someone reads this and invests their hard earned money on them I truly hope they are all what they say they are and they provide you years of creativity.
