Making gold in WoW can be tedious. I'm a wealthy player myself, and can understand the frustration of players seeking to make enough gold to cover basic expenses. Posting thousands of stacks, tracking inventory, and knowing what to do with certain items, these are tedious tasks indeed. Fortunately, there are add-ons that can facilitate the process from start to finish. You can get these add-ons at Curse Gaming. Let's take a look at the add-ons in question.
#1 Tradeskill Master: This add-on was created with one idea in mind: provide the average auctioneer with every tool needed to rake in gold. This add-on is easily my favorite. Its features will blow your socks off:
- Keeps a pricing database for all items. Scans take 6-7 seconds vs 120+ seconds for auctioneer (although with less detail)!
- Mailbox module allows you to automatically mail items from one character to another. Huge time saver! Also lets you auto-loot the mailbox.
- Crafting: Analyses every profession you have, and tells you which crafts are most profitable. Can queue the crafts for you, and tell you which mats you need to buy.
- Auctioning: Allows you to auction off items at blazing fast speeds, with automatic pricing set by you.
- Accounting: Keeps track of EVERYTHING you buy and sell. Excellent for analysing your business, and making tweaks where needed.
That's just a brief overview of what the add-on can do. Seriously, download it now!
#2 Auctioneer: This add-on keeps detailed data about the auction house (hence its longer scan times). It's an insanely powerful analysis tool, with several search filters. It allows you to search for rare items, search for good deals, and search for good items to disenchant at profit (amongst others). Eventually this will be replaced by Tradeskill Master, but for the time being it remains an essential add-on for any serious gold-maker.
#3 Auctionator: Simplifies your Auction House UI and makes buying/selling simpler. Not entirely necessary, but some prefer this add-on over some of TSM's modules.
#4 Bagnon: Makes your bags much easier to manage. Also keeps track of item counts per character.
#5 Altoholic: Keeps track of every item you have on EVERY character. Tracks guild banks, character banks, achievements, you name it! Not sure if you have an item on a mule character? Altoholic lets you check within seconds.
BONUS #6: Mr. Plow: A small add-on that sorts your inventory for you! Works great for organizing your bags and assessing current inventory.
