3 Tips For Finding a Hungry Market

The first step in creating a profitable Internet marketing business is finding a hungry market to sell to.
Unfortunately many new marketers will get their cart before their horse and try to sell something before they know there is a market for it.
Following this path can be a disaster for the ego as well as the pocket book.
By finding a hungry market and then finding out what that market is hungry for, the rest of the business can come together much faster.
The are an unlimited supply of hungry markets that are happy to pay you for the solutions to their problems.
A little bit of research can lead you to more markets then you can market to.
One thing to consider is, what are your interests? Make a list of things that you are good at and or have an interest in to guide you in your search.
Do you have to know a subject to build a business in? No you don't! However, you will need to spend time working in your business and at least having an interest in your topic will be a big help.
A familiar topic is always a good place to start your research.
Ask yourself things like, what are my hobbies? What are my interests? What would I like to learn about? What am I an expert at? These kinds of questions can help give direction as you begin your research for a hungry market.
Getting More Ideas; There are some excellent resources online that can help you find the perfect market to start a business in.
One place that I like for finding out what  people are buying or looking to buy is eBay Pulse.
Here you can find the most popular searches on the biggest online auction site.
You can break them down by categories as well.
These are things people are looking for because they have an interest in buying.
Another tool the I find helpful is eBay Keywords.
  This site gives you the exact phrases that are used to search the site.
These are broken down alphabetically and by category.
Large book retailers like Amazon.
com and Barnes and Noble can give you very good clues on what's selling and what people are looking for.
Amazon is a place that I do a lot research.
You can search for the best sellers and find out what people are buying and what kind of information they are searching for.
You can even see the table of contents for many of the books online and this will give more information about that markets needs.
Nailing it down with keywords; Now that you have discovered some hungry markets you can use some keyword research to get even more detail about what your market is looking for.
For basic keyword research I like SEO book.
Start with a broad topic search about your market.
This will give related keywords and phrases that people are typing into the search engines.
Now you can find specific phrases that can literally tell you what people are looking for in your market.
