Falmouth is located in Cornwall, and is a town and lies on River Fal.
Not a huge location, but rich in history, and many offerings of things to see.
Like most of the old towns and cities that are located in the United Kingdom.
Most famous for the Harbor that is located here, but also known for Carrick Roads.
It is the third of the natural harbors for deepest too.
That's in the entire world, and it's actually the deepest location in Europe.
Here the first mail carrying service was established and operated for well over 160 years.
And another part of history was when in 1839 the famous gold dust robbery took place, where a large amount of gold dust that had come in from Brazil was taken.
It was also here where Charles Darwin would end his voyage that he took around the world.
The railway would end up coming to Falmouth in 1863.
Adding yet another way of traveling to the location.
Now the location has many stations located there.
A nice way that you will be able to reach the locations of Gyllyngvase beach and Pendennis castle.
Though the industry for maritime has become less since the past, it still does help to maintain the economy in Falmouth.
Architecture here is mostly Georgian in design, and many examples of that are still up and able to be viewed.
