If you are interested in Solar power but feel that you need to know more before committing yourself then you should be looking for the free information on the internet.
Once you start searching the internet you very quickly realise that there are about a dozen Commercial Solar Power Sites.
Typically you will find that the first 30/40 pages of results shown on any Search Engines Reports are all directing you one way or another onto these commercial sites whether it is for Professional Installation Services or DIY guides which actually form the biggest percentage of the results.
Don't get the wrong idea, the commercial sites are very good.
But the only way to find out what information and advice is on these DIY Guide sites is by putting your money down.
If you are like me you really don't want to buy anything, well not just yet, in fact not until you have learnt a lot more about it.
We want to understand a lot more before we put our hard earned cash on the line.
The commercial guides all offer a solution, sometimes covering all the major alternative technology options.
These solutions will work but they are all limited to a fixed answer.
The sort of information I am looking for is detailed and different I don't want to be given one answer I want to know that there are lots of answers some of which suite me and some don't.
On the internet there are lots of answers but you have to search for them.
You will find that this information comes from all sorts of sources ranging from Governmental Academic Analysis to totally committed Amateur Builders.
The information is supplied as pages of text, drawings, and pictures, tables, graphical analysis internet forums and video's.
You will find that you now know what you need in terms of components, products and ancillary equipment.
You will be able to specify what you want know where to buy it and how much you need to pay.
And most importantly you will know what you can do yourself and keep to a minimum that which you need to pay someone else to do for you.
