- 1). Call the Lone Star Car Help Desk immediately if your card is lost, stolen or you want to freeze your own access to the card. The help desk phone number is 1-800-777-7328.
- 2). Inform a customer service representative that you want to stop usage of your Lone Star Card. You will be asked to provide your name and other personal information to confirm your identity. Service will be stopped immediately; if your card is lost or stolen and has already been used, then you will lose those benefits.
- 3). Ask the customer service representative to send you a new Lone Star Card if you are stopping service because the car was stolen or because you lost the card. A new card will be mailed to you in about a week.
