Registered Dietitian Degrees
To become a Registered Dietitian (RD), you will need to find an Registered Dietitian School that has a four year Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics and Nutrition. This Bachelor Degree needs to be from a Accredited College or University that the courses are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE) that is the accrediting agency of the American Dietetic Association (ADA).
They will also need to complete an internship at a facility that is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education. This internship can take six to twelve months long.
You will need to pass an exam from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) which is an National Exam.
In most states you will also need to get an license.
To keep your Degree current you will also need to take Continuing Education Classes every year.
