One of the biggest questions that most have is how can I get such a huge following? How can I grow my downline exponentially? You will be suprised with the answer. Most will assume that I will say marketing is the key component. That is just putting the cart before the horse. Be the leader.
See yourself as the leader you will be not as the leader you are now. You can't expect to have anything handed to you on a silver platter. Leaders go and take action and are willing to stand alone for a period of time. This is an act of faith. It is imperative that you take some action on being a leader. If you are not sure how to be one, look at someone that you admire and take on their characteristics.

Start reading books on leadership. Some very profound authors are John Maxwell, Dr. Myles Munroe, Les Brown, Zig Ziglar, and Jim Rohn.You have to get it into your mind that you are leader. Its not even about the title at all. Its about the action, the actual doing.

Do things that leaders do.
Leaders are willing to lead by example. You can't expect your team to follow you if aren't willing to do what you ask them. The saying goes that great leaders have a servants heart. Look at Jesus. Leaders are willing to look foolish. This path is usually the one less traveled.

As you do the things that leaders do you will develop confidence in yourself and began to actually see you becoming a leader. When that happens you will start to develop a following. This energy will pour out in your marketing efforts, when you talk to prospects on the phone, and in everyday life.

Have what leaders have.
You've made it through the hardest part. Now you are starting to see the rewards of the fruit of your labor. It is so easy at this point to relax but if you do you can lose everything. Those that think being a leader is a one time thing are sadly mistaken. Being a leader is a life long journey.

You never stop learning. Leaders develop other leaders. So if you want to see some type of duplication in your downline teach others what you have learned. A leader always knows that he has to have other strong leaders following him in order to be successful.

This is simply the foundation. When you have a firm foundation in place you don't worry when the storms of life come against your business. This is the simple way of building a huge downline out of nothing. It starts with yourself and what you see your team becoming.
