As most folks know there were a number of Russian Spies caught in the US, and this begs the question where are the rest? We know that there are 3500 plus Chinese corporate and military spies in our nation, and that intelligence estimate is viewed as pretty solid, and it is believed that Russia also has a good number of spies in our nation still, perhaps as high as between 1500-2000.
So, where are the rest of these spies? Well, our Think Tank was addressing this issue, here is what we think; They are in cities like Tampa, Atlanta, Pittsburg, Cleveland, Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, Denver, Santa Fe, Houston, Austin, Dallas, etc.
And they are also in other countries using social networks to spy on Americans from places like South Africa.
South Africa you ask, yes, definitely, as it is an open society, and it has a strong sense of urgency for innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Remember the recently caught spies in the US were busy doing business consulting, coaching, think tank endeavors, and hanging around academia, and busy recruiting folks who might be close to the leadership.
This makes South Africa a ripe place for the same Method of Operations.
In fact, the way we see it, it's almost completely unlikely for a number of deep sleeper like cells from Russia not to be there, attempting to recruit and make up ground in the US, and in that country as well.
In South Africa, these Russian Spies would have the ability to contact US citizens, make friends on social networks, and carry on as if they were in Boston, New Jersey, Washington DC, or any of the areas in the US were we caught the last group.
Thus, if we really want to catch the Russian Spy infiltrators, it makes sense to look to such countries, where they can do their work unabated.
