I found out about this campground from camping friends, and I RV camped there in June 2008.

Describe your camping trip:

Campground is very large and located right beside Route 15. We camped for four days. This campground lists itself as a Good Sam Park, which means that Good Sams members receive a 10% discount. This was disallowed, because we did not tell them when we made the reservations.

Campground is very clean and the showers are nice. However the attitude of the staff just turned me off. Not very helpful. I don't think I will be returning.

Pros: Very clean, large shaded site, nice showers.

Cons: Traffic noise was very loud all day and night. I think it would be better further back in the campground, but then you would be a good distance from all the amenities.

Nearby attractions: Gettysburg Battlefield

Further comments: There seemed to be many rules and regulations that were not obeyed, and the staff did nothing about it. The campground seemed to be run at the whim of the staff.
