The below poem is called, "One Day I'll See.
" I pray when Satan tries to bring back the pain of your loved one's death that you will tell Satan to go to hell! Then let God remind you of the "life" He allowed you to share with your loved one.
One day you will be united.
One day you will be able to see one another in heaven.
Until that day comes, walk in faith and let God take the pain away.
Remember your loved one's time on earth whether it was in conception only or at the end of a long life.
Either way you still have a bond you will share through eternity and no man can take away.
You will meet again in heaven.
It is God's promise to all believer's in Christ.
It will be hard and you will cry.
You may go a few days and feel okay.
Then a memory will comes back, because you see or hear something, and you may break down in tears.
It's okay.
Allow yourself to mourn.
Do not put a time limit on your mourning and whatever you do, don't let anyone else either! Take care of that child in you.
As adults we understand that the pain will go away and the death is part of living, but our child inside doesn't understand that.
When your mom or dad die, it is the child crying our for her/his daddy or mommy and doesn't understand.
Think back to when your were little.
What would comfort you then and make you feel safe? Hugging a teddy bear or eating an ice cream cone? Whatever it may be, allow yourself that comfort.
God understands even if the world doesn't.
I bought myself a stuffed rabbit, because my mom always called herself "Mother Rabbit".
there were 6 kids in our family so as a joke one time she said that and it stuck with her as a term of endearment.
Do you know I still have the stuffed animal? Sometimes when I cry, I will hold it and let the tears flow.
It is my way of taking care of the little girl inside of me.
Do I care what others think? Nope! Don't you either.
This is our life and if that will help us through a day to maybe hurt a little less, do it.
Always invite Jesus to be with you during these times of pain.
He is the one true friend who will listen and not judge you.
Sometimes if you close your eyes and ask for his help, you may even feel his loving arms around you.
I pray the poem below will help you through your pain.
I am always here if you need to talk.
Sometimes it's easier talking to a stranger than family or friend.
One Day I'll See "You'll never be alone" is what the Bible said, But in my darkest hour, these words had left my head.
I sat there and I questioned just why you had to go And then I heard the answer as only God would know.
He took you home to heaven where you'd be free from earthly pain Then he left me keep your memory so our bond could still remain.
He said your body may be gone, but your soul will never die.
It lives in heaven with Jesus and then he asked me not to cry.
I know one day I'll be with you.
I now one day I'll see.
This life is just a practice run.
It's not our destiny.
Since I can't touch or see your face, there is one thing I can do.
I asked Jesus to give a great big hug...
especially to you! I then asked if he would tell you how much I love you still And how every day I think of you and know I always will.
Only God knows what the future holds, but I know one day I'll see When Jesus comes to take me home and I, too, will be set free.
