Types Of Anxiety Disorders - Phobia Emotion Is Different

Suffering from anxiety is not anything to be embarrassed about. The one thing you should realize is that anxiety effects many people. Unfortunately, you'll also find that there are people who deal with this every single day. Their fear has reached a point where normal fear has turned into anxiety. A phobia, is usually a unjustifiable fear that other people would find silly. Anxiety disorders, such as phobias, make it difficult for people to enjoy life because they are handicapped by their fear. In this article we will take a look at some of these phobias.

A fear of slopes is called Bathmophobia. Diagnosing this anxiety disorder in people can be something that is confusing. You'll often find Climacophobia is what people are diagnosed with what is not that. One thing you should realize is that this phobia can paralyze people just by looking at stairs. Whereas people who suffer from climacophobia can look at slopes or stairs, but they do not experience anxiety until they actually have to physically go up or down them. And people who suffer from bathmophobia will also not be able to even look at a roller coaster.

Catching a particular disease is known as Nosophobia, the next phobia we will discuss. Most people are more familiar with hypochondria, but it is different from nosophobia because it deals with a person who is afraid of getting a disease in general. People who suffer from nosophobia fear that they will get a specific disease and not just one in general. This phobia is real and is a lot more common than most people think, even if you havn't heard of this phobia before.

Maskaphobia - fear of masks: Maskaphobia sufferers fear masks and anyone who is wearing a mask. You will realize that these people do not celebrate Halloween, and may even keep their lights off when trick or treaters come.

To the person who fears masks, a mask is not normal. You will find that what people believe is the big problem is that when a person has a mask on they no longer look like themselves. Another reason this can be scary is because the mask will not move but people will hear voices, can really freak people out. This is something that you may realize will also go along with the clown phobia. When people change their looks with masks or even face paint this can really effect people with these phobias. So we just wanted to explain that you can find all different types of fears and anxiety disorders. And when it comes to phobias they are normally a fear of a very specific thing. You may also find that some phobias will be something that most people don't like to begin with, like spiders. However, other people learn how to put their emotions in check when it comes to these particular phobias such as snakes and stairways, but sufferers cannot do the same.
