This is Mendy, one of my 4 kitties. She is 11yrs old, a purebred Ragamuffin and her picture is still used as representative of the breed by the Ragamuffin Associated Group in the yearly publication Cats USA. I learned she was in trouble when the people who took her as a retired pet violated their agreement by keeping her In a garage, and I was able to rescue her before they sent her to the pound (YIKES!).
She has been an utter delight ever since.
With her perky attitude and "Elvis sneer", she will swat at anyone who gets in her way (with soft, velvet paws of course) and is utterly fearless, boldly walking right up to anyone (human or beast) as if she is saying, "If you are going to stay for any length of time, here are the rules I expect you to follow..."
