The United States is on the decline.
The country does not understand that there is something far more important than military power.
Look at the past several wars that the U.
S.
military has fought.
Vietnam and Iraq have not been fought solely by military power.
Yes, the Gulf War did use much of the country's advanced military power, but that type of equipment is not required in the current wars.
The new Humvees are proving ineffective in this type of war.
The United States' air power seems to be killing the wrong people in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
Tanks and advanced fast fighter planes are of little use in both wars.
Smart bombs are not smart enough to hit just the enemy.
Today and in the future, wars will be fought with money.
It will continue to be, as always in the past, the wealthiest countries that win wars.
The United States seems to be very wealthy, but unfortunately the government has been borrowing heavily from oil- rich countries and also China.
As previously pointed out, because the U.
S.
relies so heavily on oil, any country wanting to destroy the United States only has to sell the hordes of U.
S.
dollars it holds.
This would drive down the value of the dollar and completely immobilize our military.
How could the U.
S.
purchase oil with devalued money? It has become obvious that currently the United States tries hard to keep out the young great minds of foreigners -- those who can't pass the nation's test of being from a nonbelligerent country.
Most great minds are now going elsewhere to get advanced degrees.
Singapore has several people who go around the world buying current great minds to live there and study and work.
China also has great universities that are attracting those who might otherwise come to the United States to study.
China has now built more great highways throughout the country.
Today, the Chinese produce the most steel in the world.
The countries of Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia and Singapore are building new impressive cities.
In contrast, the school system in the U.
S has become a computer game world.
Children are teaching themselves to play these games.
School lessons are nothing but answering the questions to expected tests.
The theme and focus of education in the U.
S has become, "No Child Should Be Left Behind.
" In past generations, foreigners who studied in the U.
S earned many of the Ph.
D.
s.
Today, in the United States, Americans' priorities have become to drive the biggest cars and ultimately consume the most oil.
Because of the U.
S.
open borders, businesses hire the cheapest labor.
These workers pay few if any taxes and contribute little or nothing to the costs of running the local, state and federal governments.
If Congress can't figure out how to control this situation, it only demonstrates the government's inability to properly run the country.
Those running the country can provide all kinds of subsidies to struggling farmers, yet that in charge can't figure out how farmers can pay workers fair wages.
The U.
S.
government has run up the biggest deficit ever witnessed by the world.
Now, at the slightest recession, the government thinks that the only way to solve the problem is to borrow more money to give to potential American consumers.
