Sneaker Stores in London

London is where the style on the streets compensates for the foggy weather. Here's a list of places in London for stylistic kids who take the art of self-ornamenting very seriously. Please note, these boutiques are listed in random order.

1. Footpatrol

Footpatrol is London’s best-known destination sneaker store, with a history in supplying the most exclusive sneakers. Originally opened in 2002, and relocated to it’s new store in 2010, It’s been at the heart of supplying the sneaker fraternity with the most desirable footwear and apparel. Providing a hub for the sneaker community to come and chat about what they love most. Specializing in new & classic sneakers, limited editions, Japanese exclusives and rare deadstock. Footpatrol is stocked with top level product from the well known, and not so well known brands, Including Nike ‘Tier Zero’, Adidas ‘Consortium’, Puma ‘List’, Converse ‘First String’ and Asics ‘Friends & Family’ to name but a few. Also stocking a few select apparel and accessory brands and own branded products. As well as hosting launches for the most sought after new releases.

2. Schuh

Schuh was established by Founding Director Sandy Alexander in 1981, with a single shop in North Bridge Arcade, Edinburgh. The company became part of the Glasgow-based Goldbergs retail group, which ceased trading in 1991. Alexander led a management buyout, backed by capital from development agency Scottish Enterprise, to allow Schuh to continue trading. As of May 2011, the chain has remained independent, with 76 stores in the UK and Ireland. Schuh's head office is in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland. Schuh's flagship store opened in 2004 at 200 Oxford Street, London. It is THE sneaker store servicing all of the UK.

3. Size?

Size? is one of the most popular destinations in the UK for exclusive sneaker launches. Operating as a chain with various locations, this cool sneaker store carries all the major brands, with a wide assortment to choose from. Similar to a sneaker emporium, Size? never ceases to impress. If it’s a new release, you can count on finding it at Size?. The stores also feature all the latest sneaker-related merchandise including books, magazines, clothing, and collectibles. One of the best places in London to find unique and exclusive sneakers. They have an amazing variety of trainers, Nikes in particular, and the prices are quite reasonable. If you are looking for a cool pair of sneakers, come here. I guarantee you will find something you like... and something nobody else will have!

4. Slam City Skates

Slam City Skates is a great place to find some Nike SB's since they do have a SB account, yet they're known to be a little bit overpriced. On the flipside, as far as service goes, these guys deserve a 4 star! If you have a question at either WESC or here, they will be able to answer any or most questions you throw at them. For SB's ask for Jordan at WESC. I've never had a problem having to reserve a pair of kicks for pickup.

5. Niketown London

The hub of Nike activities for the UK, Niketown is four floors of Nike training equipment, sports kits and Nike branded merchandise. The store is hugely impressive and the branded trainer glass box right in the middle is quite stunning. In particular running shoes should always be the best you can find as you run the risk of shin splits and ankle and knee injuries otherwise. Nike is also now responsible for a number of the Premier League football kits and you will be guaranteed to find them here. On a slightly sour note, this store has been known to attract a number of fights and, very unfortunately, stabbings due to the value of quite a bit of the stuff inside. It's very unlikely, however, that you will ever see an incident at the store and if you need Nike gear this is the place to go.
