I am an artist myself.
And I enjoy making and designing all kinds of pieces on various mediums.
When i was raising a family and I had children that were looking up to me for guidance, I knew it was my duty to help them learn to be creative and take on a more artistic perspective on the world.
Now my children are all highly intelligent artists in their own right, and they make absolutely gorgeous, and deeply meaningful works! I often have parents and neighbors around town coming to me asking how they can help their children to become more creative and think more deeply on various things.
And I pretty much always give the same tips to everybody that comes around looking for answer.
It's very simple and I sum them up into these 3 steps.
I am a really good artist myself, and my children are all special, as yours are too.
So put my stuff to work and let me know how it goes!

- Know your child.
What kinds of things does your child like to do? Learn to understand what they are interested in and what they desire.
It's important to get an idea of what they already enjoy doing and learning. - Know the technology.
You've got to understand the different kinds of art mediums so that when you have a good idea of what your kid likes to learn and do, you can introduce them to the medium that suits their interests.
It makes sense, right? - Give them time.
Let them play with the toys, the artistic tools, and always consider it something fun for them to do.
It's key to make sure they are enjoying themselves.
If you want, letting them go see a tutor or a teacher of art can be very helpful.
Remember, the trick is to make sure they are enjoying themselves!
