When you create an affiliate website, it is important to make sure you get your affiliate links sprinkled throughout it.
Now, the key here is not to overdo it and have our links everywhere.
Too many affiliate links not only looks horrible but become invisible to the reader.
Also, if your actual articles are broken up every 2 seconds with an advertisement or link, it can be off putting to say the least resulting in the back button being hit.
So, you need to use affiliate links the right way.
There are 3 areas I use them depending on the tools available.
First Way The first way I use affiliate links is within the post or page.
Now what I see a lot is affiliates disguising affiliate links within words on their pages.
Although this is fine, for novice or amateur internet users, they will not be aware of links disguised as words! We need to make it plainly obvious as to where our affiliate links are and where they can be clicked.
In this case, the best way I find to do this is at the very end of the page or post with something along the lines of: "If You Suffer From A Yeast Infection & Want To Learn How To Treat It Quickly, Like Many Others Have Before You >> CLICK HERE!" As you can see, it offers a solution many others have used before hand and it is blatantly obvious that it is a CLICKABLE link with the "CLICK HERE" part at the end.
This works, and gets clicks because anybody reading an entire article on your website is likely to want to find out more.
Now, when it comes to in page or in post affiliate links this is generally all that is needed.
However, I also from time to time entire the same text and link midway through an article, if the article is longer than normal.
This is to cover us if the reader doesn't read the full article.
A link at the end is usually more than enough but if you feel your article is longer than usual, pop one midway through as well.
Second & Third Way The second and third use of affiliate links is within the widget section of WordPress and depending on the affiliate tools you have available within the program you are using, will depend on what you can do.
You see, with the majority of affiliate programs on ClickBank, they will have an affiliate tools page where they have a wealth of tools you can use, some of which include graphical banners you can use.
The two types of affiliate links you can use within the Widget area are text links and banner links.
Some of the affiliate programs you are targeting may not have banners, that doesn't matter, in that case just use a text link.
When it comes to affiliate links that is all we need to do.
We don't need to overload it and we certainly don't need to worry about these being clicked as we are now setup for victory!:-)
