Rolls Royce Phantom Series II

After nine years on top, Rolls Royce has updated its leading model.
While some cars undergo a complete revamp, the message regarding the new Phantom is one of subtle tune-ups, not big changes.
After all, the Phantom has sat on the throne of the motoring world for the past nine years without change, so this shows that the consumer market is still in love with the Phantom.
This message is reflected within Rolls Royce, who believed that the Phantom was right at the first attempt, and the new edition just supplies a more contemporary version in today's developing world.
The fact that Rolls Royce didn't have to change much shows how the Phantom is at the pinnacle of motoring in a seemingly permanent position.
The new Phantom aims to bring both driver and passenger the utmost in luxury and relaxation, especially in the fast-paced world around us.
The only change when it comes to performance is the new eight-speed automatic gearbox.
This means the ride of the new Phantom remains tranquil, even at the highest speed.
The gear changes are hardly noticeable and are as fluid as the steering.
The new gearbox also increases the economy of the Phantom by 10 percent.
The engine still holds a powerful 6.
75-litre v12 and covers 0-60mph in 5.
8 seconds, while the top speed reaches 149mph.
The Phantom holds a strong 453bhp while still maintaining the grace and beauty it is associated with.
On the outside, the sides have been trimmed and fitted with chrome, and the wheels come in a choice of two alloy options.
The rear has had a lift while the front headlights are now rectangular rather than circular.
These are LED and work both in the day and evening, causing less strain on the eyes for oncoming traffic while still clearly illuminating the road ahead.
The lights are fitted with technology that adapts to the speed you are driving and any new movement that occurs in steering - all to make sure that the road ahead is always well-lit when you're behind the wheel of a Phantom.
These LED lights are fitted as standard in all Phantoms, making Rolls Royce the first in the world to do this.
The elegant interior has been simplified, making its appearance sleeker and more contemporary.
The central information system has been enhanced with an easy use rotational control knob, meaning you can easily control the car's features all in one place.
The technological aspects are where the Phantom has experienced the biggest revamp, the sat nav has been improved, while there is now a smart phone connectivity port, as well as new USB access, too.
The quality of the audio output from the Logic7 technology means the sound is specifically and directly delivered to the ears of both passenger and driver.
The new Phantom is available with a Driver's Package that installs front and rear brackets, giving additional firmness to the shell, while the steering wheel is thicker and the brakes give you more feel for the road.
