Once upon a time there was a bear and his name was Pierre, now Pierre had no hair.
It was to be a very cold and long winter so Pierre needed to find a way to keep warm when he went to hibernate.
So down the road he went.
The first house he went to was Tyler's house.
He knocked on the door and when Tyler answered Pierre sang this song..
"I'm a little bear and I haven't any hair and I don't have anything to wear.
I'm a little bear and I haven't any hair and I don't have anything to wear.
" Now Tyler thought and thought suddenly he had a wonderful idea he went into the house and was gone for such a long time soon he came out with his favorite shirt if was bright red and had the words "What happens at grandma's stays at grandma's.
" printed on it.
Pierre put the shirt on and said "Oh Tyler this feels wonderful!" And he had such a wonderful feeling inside as he knew it was Tyler's favorite shirt.
But it was going to be a very long and cold winter and he needed to get going.
Down the road he went.
Soon he was at grandma's house.
He knocked on the door and grandma answered the door and here was Pierre and he sang..
"I'm a little bear and I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
I'm a little bear and I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
" Grandma thought and thought she went into the house and was gone for a very, very long time.
Soon she came out and had a bright blue pair of pants that had a orange owl on one of its legs.
It was her favorite one that she put on Tyler each time he came to see her.
Pierre put on the pants and exclaimed..
"Oh grandma this feels wonderful!" And he had a very warm feeling inside as he knew this was her favorite pair of pants.
So now he had Tyler's favorite red shirt on that said "what happens at grandma's stays at grandma's.
" And he had the bright blue pants with the orange owl on one of its legs from grandma.
But it was to be a very long and cold winter and he had to get on his way.
So down the road he went until he came across Sirach, the dog.
He greeted Sirach with this song.
"I'm a little bear and I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
" Sirach thought and thought then he remembered that he had his favorite pile of fur piled up in his bed to keep warm at night.
He was gone for a very, very, very long time soon he was back with a knitted brown and red dog fur lined hat with ear flaps for Pierre.
Pierre put the hat on and said.
"Oh Sirach, this feels wonderful!" He had a very warm feeling inside as he knew it was made out of Sirach's favorite pile of fur.
So he had on his bright red shirt with "what happens at grandma's stays at grandma's" shirt from Tyler, the bright blue pants with the orange owl on one of its legs from grandma, and the brown and red dog fur hat with ear flaps from Sirach the dog.
But it was to be a long winter and he had to get going.
Soon he came to Aunt Chris's house.
And when she answered the door he sang.
"I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
" Chris thought and thought suddenly she had an idea.
She was gone for a very, very, very, very long time.
Soon she was back and she had made him from scratch blue and red boots for his feet.
She made it from her favorite warm fuzzy blanket.
Pierre put them on and he shouted.
"Oh Chris these feel wonderful!" He had a warm feeling inside as he knew she made them with love.
So he had on Tyler's red shirt with "what happens at grandma's stays at grandma's" printed on it, the bright blue pants with an orange owl on one of its legs from grandma, a red and brown dog fur hat with ear flaps from Sirach, and blue and red boots made out of a favorite blanket by Aunt Chris for his feet to stay warm.
But it was to be a long winter and he had to get going.
Next he was at Aunt Lila's house.
When she answered her door he sang.
"I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I don't have very much to wear.
" Well Lila thought and thought then she thought of something.
She was gone for a very, very, very, very, very long time.
Soon she came back with a purple, and blue, and red, and yellow scarf that she crochet for Pierre.
He put it around his neck and he said "Oh Lila this feels wonderful!" So now he had a purple, yellow, blue and red scarf from Lila, a pair of blue and red boots from Aunt Chris, a brown and red dog fur hat with ear flaps from Sirach, blue pants with a bright orange owl on one leg from Tyler's grandma and a bright red shirt that said "what happens at grandma's stays at grandma's" printed on it from Tyler.
As he walked down the road he had such a warm feeling inside and started singing this song..
"I'm a little bear I haven't any hair and I didn't have anything to wear.
But because my friends all cared and were willing to share, today I have plenty to wear!"
