I don't know about you, but I hate stools.
They're just not comfortable.
I have yet to find a stool that I enjoyed sitting in.
Problems with stools: They have no back support.
What's up with this? How can you sit in something for any length of time with no back support? They are hard on your butt.
By this I mean that you're putting all your weight onto the surface of the stool, so your butt tends to get sore faster than if you were sit in a chair, for instance.
You have to be leaning forward for them to be of any use.
As in, working on something that is made easier by leaning forward.
For instance, if you're working on a model kit or typing something on your computer, and the table you're using (if you're using a table) is slightly lower to the ground than the seat of the stool, then go ahead and use that seating/table combination.
