60s, a time when life is changing faster then we would care to admit, children are grown, friends are lost and family seems to busy to get together or live far away.
Making every day count, look for new people to fill the void we all like to feel wanted and needed.
Volunteer, start a new job or exercise program.
Women we are happiest when we develop relationships or when we are in them.
God has not given me a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self discipline.

Maintaining vitality in our 60s:
- Diet and exercise, Keeping physically fit is vital to your flexibility and bone health along with a well balanced diet.
- Regular visits to your physician, dentist, and eye doctor
- Education on the changes that can take place with health issues
- Skin exams are essential, know your moles and check them often
- Mammogram,bone density test and internal exam with a pap test
- Annual fecal occult blood test, rectal exam, sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy
- Cholesterol panel (total LDL, HDL, and triglycerides), liver panel (when taking certain medications), thyroid test (TSH) and Diabetes check (fasting blood glucose) Taking the time to discuss these blood test with your doctor is just apart of having a handle on your health.
- Know your blood pressure and your Immunizations( Tetanus, Influenza, Pneumococcal, Herpes zoster vaccine)
