How To Grow The Sweetest Tomatoes

You don't have to be an avid gardener to enjoy fresh home grown vegetables.
They can be grown in pots on a balcony, or in a small section of your garden.
If you prefer, you can even plant them among your flowering plants, it's so easy and wonderfully rewarding.
You can buy the seedlings already growing from your nursery.
This may seem a daunting task, but give it a go, and your efforts will be well rewarded.
Here are a few tips on growing the sweetest tomatoes ever! • You need good quality soil, or if growing in pots, put in good quality potting soil • A good tip to remember is don't crowd seedlings.
They need a bit of breathing space.
• If you are growing them inside, ensure that there is enough light • Another tip to remember, sweet, juicy tomatoes love heat.
• When planting your seedlings, bury them deep enough - to the first leaves.
• When seedlings start to grow, support the big, leafy tops, because your tomatoes need to ripen lots of fruit.
• Support your plants with sticks or poles, so that they don't fall over.
• Water regularly, especially if in a hot area.
Don't let your seedlings dry out.
• Mulching is a good way to retain moisture, either with bark or straw.
Watch as your seedlings become big plants, and the flowers arrive.
You will be so surprised to suddenly see how many tomatoes you have.

The growing of vegetables is rather easy.
It is not at all difficult to grow salad vegetables, they are quick and easy to grow and full of flavour.
You will be surprised to taste the flavour of home grown vegetables compared to store bought ones.
You may feel that you don't have time to grow vegetables, and it's just so much easier to pick them up at the grocer or supermarket.
Even if you don't have time, my advice to you would be to make time to spend in the garden.
It's a great stress reliever and you will be surprised that once you begin, it is something that you grow to love.
I am not sure if it's because you are back to nature, and just having time for yourself, but I do know how rewarding it is, no matter how busy your schedule is.
There is nothing more enjoyable, than taking your excess tomatoes and sharing with family and friends.
You will feel so proud of your achievement.
When summer is here and you are enjoying your fresh, home grown tomatoes, you can look back and see how rewarding it is to grow the sweetest tomatoes ever!
