- 1). Pull up the transaction you want to change by looking through the find transactions window, sales register, purchases register, bank register or items register.
- 2). Change the fields as needed and click the "OK" button to save the changes.
- 3). Check the security settings if you get an error message or if the transaction reverts to the previous information. Open the "Preferences" window and click on the "Security" tab. Deselect the option "Transactions CAN’T be Changed; They Must be Reversed.”
- 4). Open the transaction again and make the necessary edits after changing the security settings.
