How to Get Your FICO Credit Score

    • 1). Visit myfico.com, which is the official website for obtaining your FICO score. This site is owned by FICO, the inventors of the FICO credit-scoring model.

    • 2). Click on the tab that reads "FICO Scores and Credit Reports." You will see multiple products that FICO has for sale.

    • 3). Click on the "Buy Now" button found under the "FICO Standard" tab. As of October 2010, the price of a FICO score is $15.95.

    • 4). Decide if you want to order your FICO score from TransUnion or Equifax. Your score for each bureau may differ if the bureaus' databases contain different information. You can order one or both of the scores. (Experian no longer allows consumers to purchase their FICO score from any source.) Click "Continue" to proceed.

    • 5). Fill out the online form with your personal information. If you are already a myFICO customer, you can simply log into your account. Click the "Continue" button once you're done.

    • 6). Fill out the payment tab with either your credit card or debit card details. You will need one or the other to complete the transaction. Once done, click the tab at the bottom entitled "Make My Purchase." Myfico will authorize your card for the transaction amount then automatically direct you to another page where you will see your FICO score.
