Find out how you can create a lovely little refrigerator magnet using a sea shell and tiny flowers.
- Age Guideline: 5 Years and Up
- Time Required: 20 minutes (Does not include drying time)
The above age and time guidelines are estimates. This project can be modified to suit other ages and may take more or less time depending on your circumstances.
Materials Needed:
- Spiral Sea Shell
- Magnet(Small Round Ones Work Best)
- Small, Artificial Flowers
- Items to Embellish (Optional)
- Craft Glue
- Scissors
Instructions:
Start off by making sure your shell is clean and dry. Decide which side you want to be the back of the magnet. You will want the hole in the magnet to face up. Glue the magnet to the back of the sea shell.
Trim the stems of your small, artificial flowers so they can be pushed down inside the hole in the sea shell. Use a little glue to hold the flowers in place. If you like, you can decorate your sea shell using paint, glitter, ribbon, etc.
Let the glue dry completely before you hang it on the refrigerator, locker, or other metal surfaces.
