- 1). Log in to your Constant Contact account. Click "Contacts" and then "Export." Choose the list you would like to export in the "Contact List" drop-down menu. If you wish to keep contacts sorted by groups, export each group list individually.
- 2). Click "Export as CSV" or "Export as Text." (MailChimp will accept either file type.) Choose a location on your hard drive to save the file, and then click "Save." Repeat the export process for as many lists as you would like to export.
- 3). Log in to your MailChimp account. Click "Lists" and then "Import."
- 4). Click "Upload List from Constant Contact." Choose a file you exported in the previous steps, and then click "Import." Repeat this process for each list you exported from Constant Contact.
- 5). Choose a name for each column being imported and the field type. For example, choose "Email Address" as the type for the column that includes email addresses. When you have edited all columns to your satisfaction, click "All Done" to complete the process.
