- 1). Log into the account on the website for the merchant who has issued your credit card. Visa works in conjunction with merchants and banks when they issue a credit card backed by Visa's service. For instance, Bank of America, or Macy's or other department stores, will issue the card. You must go to the bank or merchant's website and log in, not the main Visa website. Enter your user name and password to gain access.
- 2). Go to the "Manage My Account" or "Account Settings" or "Billing Information." Your name, address, email, phone number and other important contact information will come up.
- 3). Update the information that has changed. For instance, if you have moved, enter your new street address. Click "Save" to complete the update.
