Prostate cancer may not cause signs or symptoms in its early stages. Prostate cancer is more advanced can cause the signs and symptoms such as:

* Trouble urinating
* The decline in the power of the urine flow
* Blood in urine
* Blood in the semen
* Swelling in the feet
* Discomfort in the pelvic area
* Bone pain

Causes

* To be black. Black men have a greater risk of developing prostate cancer than people of other races. It is not clear why this is so.
* Family history of prostate cancer. If the people in your family has prostate cancer, the risk may be increased.
* Obesity. Obese men with prostate cancer are diagnosed, more advanced disease, which are more difficult to treat.

Complications

Complications and treatment of prostate cancer include:

* Spreading cancer. Prostate cancer can affect nearby organs or travel through the bloodstream or lymphatic system to the bone or other organs. Prostate cancer, which is more difficult in other areas of the body, as a cancer confined to the prostate to treat.
