Of course its understandable that people who have suffered from psoriasis for a long time, and who are continuously looking for a solution, become fed up when they read for the umpteenth time false promises such ascure psoriasis for good in three days time.
Anybody who has been investigating the psoriasis treatment industry for only a few days, knows that these wild claims are common practice and promises like that are deceptive to say the least...
Also its quite insulting to all those poor sufferers who sometimes have been desperately looking for help for twenty or thirty years, or even longer...
On one important forum, a psoriasis sufferer recently complained, that he had done all the research in the world about the natural approach to cure this skin condition, and that he had come to the conclusion that it did not add up to anything substantial at all, because all ll it was about was, positive attitude, sun, and diet and nothing more...
Clearly enough I totally understand the frustration, the desperation and the reason why this person says this... still its always easy to be negative, its much more difficult to be positive, because what does this person exactly expect? Miracles?
He might as well blame his dermatologist or big pharma for not having come up with an absolute cure for psoriasis yet, even after so many years of research, and so much money invested! Although I dont think that that would be very fair either...
To make my point... sun, the right food and stress management. are all very important factors to limit psoriasis flare-ups. So if a natural cure mentions that, they are correct!
Its a fact that although there is no cure for psoriasis yet (a cure that can deal with this disease once and for all), we do know what causes the outbreaks, so by managing those triggers we can also manage this skin condition relatively easy.
It all boils down to adapting to a different lifestyle...
... being aware of stress,
... being aware of being grumpy (as opposite to a more positive attitude),
... being aware of the food you eat and the beverages you drink,
... being extremely careful to not damage your skin,
... and being aware of your inhibitions (are you still proud to show your body?)
Sticking to this lifestyle is the big challenge. Many people can do it for a while, but then give up again... the same as with dieting or stopping with smoking!
Its a matter of self-discipline. Ask yourself how strong you really are in that department.
Natural cures offer real help and advise to make this lifestyle change an easier thing to achieve.
Positive attitude for example, is in the eyes of certain critics just a load of nonsense.
You can be critical about many things, but if a therapy works it works, and many athletes are using self-hypnosis techniques before a tournament or important match, because, how you think apparently shapes the future...
Its the difference between hitting an ace when it really matters, or losing the match...
So dont let your grumpiness make you blind for the importance of having a positive attitude!
