Take a Cruise to the Canaries

For sunny weather, great beaches and fascinating cultures an increasingly popular destination is the Canary Islands which are currently receiving around 12 million visitors per year.
With well known holiday destinations such as Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote, why not take the opportunity to spend time at more than just one island by making it a cruise holiday? There is so much to see on the Canary Islands that you needn't spend all of your excursion time at the beach.
Tenerife is home to Teide National Park which is the oldest and largest park within the group of islands.
The whole island has a variety of different climates that make it an incredibly interesting location; the north side of the island has lots of vegetation whilst the south side is arid.
Located in the national park is Mount Teide, a stunning active volcano.
It hasn't erupted since 1909 but its destructive history and popularity make it an exciting location to visit.
Las Canteras beach is located in the middle of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria which is the capital city of Gran Canaria.
This beach is a protected area and diving zone and is the perfect beach to visit if you would like to take in both beach and city life without travelling miles and miles.
If you want to visit all these amazing sites without the hassle of trying to find and budget many different transport methods then a cruise is perfect for you; many depart straight from the UK so no flights are involved, and the travel company will incorporate excursions and trips to various islands for you.
A cruise is the perfect choice for a minimum hassle, maximum experience Luxury holiday.
A trip to the Canaries can also be the perfect choice for somewhere warm and relaxing to celebrate some of the colder occasions of the year.
Try something different for New Year's Day and spend it at the Canaries by taking advantage of the Christmas time packages that are available.
Or even celebrate Valentine's Day with that special someone on a Luxury cruise; explore the islands by day and enjoy the cruise ship luxuries by night.
Whether you choose to go during the winter or summer it doesn't matter, the Canary Islands enjoy year round sunshine.
And whether you want to stay onboard or embrace every excursion, a cruise can offer you either with minimum hassle, which all add up to a really great holiday.
