Is there really enough money in the world that we can all make some online? If you believe the host of sites on the web, then there really is.
Recently I decided that I needed another income stream as my wife was pregnant and I wanted her to be able to become a full time mum.
So I spent a few nights glued to my laptop in search of make money online schemes and found there are literally thousands of sites offering you the chance to make life changing sums of money.
The most common ways of doing this involve creating a website or blog to sell a product or products.
Now if you are like me and do not have a product to sell, this could create a number of problems.
Firstly you may end up selling or promoting someone else's products which makes them a lot of money and you'll make a certain percentage of commission from this but essentially you are working for someone else - not really the purpose of the exercise is it? Secondly again like me, you may have never created a website or blog in your life and do not know where to start.
If you end up on the wrong site, this could end up costing you a fair bit of money between the domain name, a hosting company and the software to create your site itself, all of which require an initial investment from yourself.
I found creating a website very straight forward if you find the correct instructions but do not be fooled, you may still need to spend some money initially to get up and running.
Remember the saying 'You get nothing for nothing in this life' well this is very true when trying to make money online.
What I found was that if you are willing to be patient and willing to put the time in finding the correct site, identifying the right niche market, creating your website and selling or promoting products that suit you, then yes money can be made online but do not be fooled or taken in by the vast majority who promise you the earth but expect you to fork out a small fortune in return.
Now remember I am in no way an expert at making money online, in fact I am in the process of starting an online business at the moment.
But I do have a lot of costly experience of chasing the dream and coming up a long way short and I do not want to see anyone else make the same mistakes I did.
