Exeter - Devon is an Ancient Town, Loaded With Modern Amenities

Exeter - Devon is a little less than forty miles northeast of Plymouth.
This town has existed since before anyone has record, or can remember.
It is truly an ancient town.
It is known to be a very profitable place to operate a business, and has excellent transportation available.
This includes two different train stations as well as Exeter International Airport.
Parliament Street is so narrow that only one person may walk through it at a time.
This street is only forty five inches long at it's widest, and only twenty five inches at it's narrowest.
Formerly known as "Small Lane", it is no surprise to learn that this is the narrowest street in the world.
The " Red coats" guided tours are available to take you on many walking tours through Exeter.
These tours are ninety minutes long, and will visit some of Exeter's most popular attractions.
"Exeter Cathedral", also known as the church of St Peter, is a magnificent example of Gothic architecture.
It is well known for, and can be recognized by it's two towers which take over the city's skyline.
The building of this fantastic church was completed in the early part of the thirteenth century.
Guided tours are available in several languages.
"Exeter castle", which is also known as Rougemont castle is a Norman castle which has not been open to the public in over one thousand years.
Today it is host to many artists, musicians, and quite a few festivals are held here.
Guided tours are available by reservation.
This beautiful castle should not be difficult to find, as it is located right in the center of Exeter.
Exeter is loaded with historic buildings, and even Medieval, underground tunnels, which can be toured with a guide, which can be arranged through the visitor's center.
Exeter and the surrounding area offers great shopping, and excellent restaurants.
There are also many nice places to stay over night.
Exeter is a fantastic place to visit, with lots of great things to do.
