These show that ghost hunting is really nothing scary.
It is more about playing with some cool gadgets and helping people with ghost problems at the same time.
Watching these ghost hunts on tv is one thing but in order to appreciate this the most you have to get out there and do it yourself.
If you are looking at getting into this profession for either a career or hobby there are some things you will need to make sure you have.
The fist thing would be a camera of some sort.
You should actually have both a still digital camera and a video camera.
These are great for times when you find that you can capture paranormal happenings on film.
Sometimes these cameras can take shots of things that don't look like are even there.
Another type of camera that you may want to get is a thermal camera.
This camera will show different temperature fluctuations at anything you point it to.
For EVP or electronic voice phenomenon, you will want some kind of audio recorder.
Just about any type would do.
I would suggest something digital that can easily transfer audio to a computer for later analysis.
Finally, you will want to take electromagnetic readings so you will need an emf meter.
As you can see, you don't need a lot to get going and it will be relatively easy to get into the art of hunting and finding ghosts.
