How to Purchase Alaska Airlines Tickets

Search for Available Flights

1). Navigate to the Alaska Airlines reservation page at www.alaskaair.com/booking/ssl/saved/ViewPnr.aspx.
2). Select whether you are interested in purchasing a "One Way & Round Trip" ticket, "Multi-City" tickets, viewing "Web Specials", or making "Award Reservations"; these options are located under New Flight Reservations near the top of the page.
3). Complete relevant information about Destination, Schedule and Number of Travelers. You also have the option to search for upgradeable fares under Search Preferences and to enter any Discount Codes you may have under Discounts.

If you have elected to view the web specials, choose from among flights departing from and arriving in pre-selected cities before you enter specific scheduling information.
4). Click "Start Shopping" in the lower right to proceed to the next section.

1). Select a flight at your preferred time and fare type from the flights listed. For more information on fare type descriptions, click on any of the fare type titles above the pricing information. You can choose from "Hot Deals" "Bargain", "Value", "Full Flex", "First Class" or "Partner Fares."
2). Click "Continue" and review Alaska Airline ticket and price information. Also review the fare and baggage rules.
3). Choose whether you would like to purchase your tickets as a guest or login to an existing Alaska Airlines account. If you do not yet have an account you will be given the option to sign up later in the process.

Click "Continue."

1). Enter traveler information such as first name, last name, gender and birth date for each person who is traveling. Also be prepared to enter your mileage program and ID number if it applies to you.
2). Choose the seating options which the traveler prefers. Travelers can choose from a seating map, based on general preferences (such as window/aisle seat) or elect not to have pre-reserved seating.
3). Click the "Continue" button to proceed to the next section or choose specific seating options based on your preference.

1). Enter valid credit card information. Alaska Airlines accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, American Express and other commercial accounts and clubs. This section includes your billing address, phone number and email.
2). Review the itinerary and rules. This includes all fare rules and baggage fees which must be clicked on to view.
3). Accept the fare rules of the itinerary and click "Purchase."
