- 1). Walk around your property and find where termite damage has taken place.
- 2). Sprinkle boric acid atop a scrap piece of wood and bury it into the ground next to the area where termite damage has taken place.
- 3). Bury the rest of your boric-acid-treated wood next to every area that has termite damage.
- 4). Check the buried wood every few days to see if any remains on the wood. If it has disappeared, sprinkle more boric acid atop the scrap and bury it again. Eventually, the termites will drag the boric acid back to their colonies and you will have killed off most of the termites damaging your property.
