The Doreen bra from lingerie veteran brand Triumph is perhaps the most popular bra ever made. It is famous for providing incredible support for breasts of any size, while being about as comfortable as a bra can get. Some of its users claim to forget they are even wearing it, while others will wear nothing else. Not bad for a bra design from 1967, would you agree?
The original model is a so-called short bra, really just a bra sized like any other full-cup bra. It is made from 85% polyamide and 15% elasthane, and has semi-transparent lace on the upper part of its cups. Many women swear by this model, but if you are looking for something a little bit different with the same comfort and support, you will be glad to learn that Triumph has added variations since 1967.
The Doreen Cotton bra has 25% cotton, which some prefer due to the coolness it can provide. It is also not as transparent in the upper cup as the original, which may appeal to some. The Doreen Luxury bra features a different embroidered pattern and a dab of cotton, while the Doreen Fleur is slightly updated in the design, making it look more modern perhaps. One of the most interesting Doreen models, has to be the Doreen Longline bra. This is really more of a bustier, with its long waist section. Very elegant, and adds support. If you are a bit too short-waisted to wear the Longline comfortably, there is also the Mid-line model, with a shorter waist section. All the variation you could ask for, really. White is the standard color, but other colors are also available.
To top it off, the Doreen comes in a staggering number of sizes, allowing women up to a size 48K to enjoy its benefits. While this bra does not give you an amazing cleavage or work for low-cut dresses and tops, it does what very few others can do - provide support that allows you to wear it all day without pain. Can you see how that might make it useful in your collection of bras?
