- 1). Open your browser and search for flightstats.com and Go to the Flight tab, click on Flight Status. See the Resources section for a link to this flight tracker.
- 2). Enter the flight details for the commercial airline you wish to track. You can choose to enter the flight number, to and from airport names or a flight route.
- 3). Enter the flight date and choose on arrival or departure and Click on the Search button.
- 4). Scroll down and click on "Extended Flight Status" to find all the details about the flight.
- 5). Review the flight status results. In this section details are included for the last departure and arrival information such as; airport name, actual time of departure, gate used, and any reported delays.
- 6). Read the flight events summary to find out the changes that occurred during the flight in more detailed. Data presented here include all the changes made to: the gate, the terminal, baggage claim area and arrival and departure times.
- 7). Register for Flight Alert if you want to receive instant alerts on flight delays and other information. This is a free service, however the user has to register with a valid e-mail address to receive the alerts.
