I found out about this campground on Woodall's, and I RV camped there in April 2010.
Describe your camping trip:
We used this campground as a stop off point between Benson, AZ and Las Vegas. OK for overnight stop, late in early out. All gravel and dirt pull throughs with 50 amp. Rattlesnakes. Not bad with no wind, but the wind sometimes blows hard.
Pros: Assistant manager was very nice, but not well versed in check-in procedures, can handle large rigs.
Cons: Next to large stable and cattle pens. If you love farms, you'll love these odors.
Nearby attractions: Casino 5 miles, Phoenix and Casa Grande 20 miles, Maricopa 12 miles.
Further comments: Unless you love loud music half through the night, stay away on Saturday.
